Located in Thompsons, Texas on 450 beautiful acres, Olde Oaks Farm has been breeding and training promising equine athletes since 2006. Owner and Managing Director Victoria Hunton has been involved in the equestrian sport since childhood, competing as both a junior and an amateur, including with Olde Oaks Farm stallion Shine in the Adult Amateur Hunter division. Inspired by Shine’s success in the hunter divisions, Vicki turned her attention to hunter breeding.

Shine continues to play an integral role in Olde Oaks Farm’s dedication to producing exceptional hunter prospects. With the addition of our newest stallion, Idalgo, Olde Oaks Farm further strengthens its focus on the intentional breeding and development of amateur-friendly horses specifically suited for the hunter ring. Olde Oaks Farm breeds approximately four foals each year, allowing us to give every youngster the individual attention they deserve. Our experienced team develops these young prospects thoughtfully and progressively, building their confidence through careful training and often showcasing them in-hand in the Hunter Breeding divisions..

Olde Oaks Farm also offers a carefully curated selection of high-quality hunter prospects for sale, ranging from foals to future hunter derby contenders. Each horse in our care—whether a newborn foal or a developing young prospect—receives an individually tailored program and thoughtful training plan designed to support their growth and success.

Our facility is designed to promote the health, comfort, and development of every horse. With two barns, a climate-controlled tack room, an automatic fly system, individual stall fans, TheraPlate and MagnaWave therapy systems, brand-new fencing, a covered arena and round pen, two grass riding fields, and expansive pasture turnout, Olde Oaks Farm is fully equipped and deeply committed to breeding and developing well-adjusted, well-rounded modern hunter type horses.
